Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup raw pecans or walnuts
  • 10 medjool dates pitted
  • 1/3 cup raw cacao or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Method
 

  1. Pulse nuts in a food processor until crumbly.
  2. Add dates and cocoa powder. Blend until sticky and combined.
  3. Press mixture into a parchment-lined small square pan.
  4. Wipe processor. Blend avocado, maple syrup, and cocoa until smooth.
  5. Spread frosting over brownies. Chill 1 hour before slicing.

Notes
