Ingredients
  

  • 2 –3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup soda cola, root beer, orange, or lemon-lime
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Maraschino cherry optional
  • Tall glass spoon, and straw

Method
 

  1. Chill a tall glass in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  2. Add 2–3 scoops of ice cream to the bottom.
  3. Tilt the glass and slowly pour soda over the ice cream.
  4. Let the foam rise, then top with whipped cream or cherry.
  5. Serve immediately with a spoon and straw.
